Heroes of Net Zero competition
Are you interested in Net Zero Hero? We want you to recognise the small businesses who are taking the most creative steps to become green and become a net zero firm by 2050 as part of the UK Government's Together for our Planet initiative!
Share the steps your company has taken to win a trip to the critical COP26 climate summit in Glasgow, as well as a unique prize package to help you build and expand your business.
A team of specialists, including Andrew Griffiths, the government's net zero champion, will assess the finest entries. The top five finalists in each category will be invited to a Heroes for Net Zero event on November 2 in Glasgow, as part of COP26.
Who can take part?
You must be a small business based in the United Kingdom with 50 employees or under. Winners will be judged in two categories:
- Micro – 1-9 employees
- Small – 10-50 employees
You must make a public commitment to become a Net Zero business by 2050

How to enter?
Simply fill out the competition form and upload a photo that best showcases the action you are taking to go green on their website link or click the icon below.
We encourage you to enter the competition by informing them about any corporate creative climate-change-fighting efforts. In exchange, they will give you the opportunity to attend the critical COP26 climate summit in Glasgow and win a £4,500 reward package to help you build and expand your business.
The top contributions will be assessed by a team of specialists, including Andrew Griffith MP, the government's Net Zero UK Business Champion. On November 2, all of the nominated companies will be invited to a special Heroes of Net Zero awards ceremony during the COP26 conference in Glasgow.
