Circular Economy Business Support with Sustainable Kirriemuir

7th December
19.00-20.00
Vaso Makri, Circular Tayside Manager will be presenting the Circular Economy concept and the Circular Tayside project

Join to find out how and why Scotland will be transitioning from a linear towards a circular economy, what opportunities there are for your business, and examples of existing successful circular businesses, in Tayside and abroad. Vaso will also be presenting some of the tools that they use to support established businesses in becoming more circular and the help available from Zero Waste Scotland in this transition.

This session will allow businesses in the town of Kirriemuir to bring their knowledge up to speed on the Circular Economy concept and begin planning how they will align their business model and operations with this Scotland-wide transition to a more circular economy. We would love for Kirriemuir to become a model town for sustainability and part of that includes our support of fantastic local businesses in the challenges that will come with this process. One of our main Climate Challenge aims is to better engage with the community and this is one of the ways that we feel would be most valuable.

This activity is part of our Scottish Government Climate Challenge Funded project, Nourish Kirriemuir.
