Glendoick is a fantastic local business that has embedded sustainability wherever possible in their organisation and they continue to search for ways to become even better.

- We recycle all glass, tin, paper, cardboard in the garden centre and as much plastic as we can

- When we buy any product for the garden centre, whether clothing, pamper, food, stationery, plants– we think first: Local and eco.”
A nice little story. We were approached by a local woman to supply jams to the café and food hall. We sell our jams in the café in very small pots. We collected over 2,000 of them from a previous supply and now our local lady washes the jams jars and puts her own jam in them. Once used, we wash and return the jam jars once more to our supplier. This is as local and circular as you can get!
The jam is more expensive than if I were to buy in bulk from a big supplier down in England but I’ve made the choice to support the local economy and be more environmental
