Alison Henderson is CEO of Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce and one of the driving forces behind the Circular Tayside project. She is passionate about supporting local businesses to thrive and grow. Encouraging businesses to adopt more circular thinking and drive circular economy principles through their business model will increase revenues and reduce costs. In the Chamber itself, the team is adopting the circular economy by reducing single use items, being aware of food waste in all our activities and are running a full EV pool car to lead by example, as well as choosing green energy providers to meet our energy needs. Next steps are to identify further ways to reduce waste, adopt energy efficiencies in our venue and embed circularity and sustainability in every corner of our business.
