I have worked for Thermo Fisher Scientific in Perth since October 2020. The company manufactures medical devices and the Perth site specialises in diagnostic kits and virus transport media, including tests for COVID-19. I have over 15 years of experience working in Environment and Health and Safety roles, including manufacturing, research and academia and voluntary sectors. I’m part of a divisional Sustainability Team in the organisation which is looking at improving the impact of our operations in Perth, and innovation within our supply chain.
I hope that by being part of the Circular Economy team in Tayside we can create opportunities for innovation, identify local partners and begin to work in a more sustainable way.
